WHO CAN JOIN SNIA?

Those who live, work, worship, or own a business within the South Natomas boundaries:  (Please note, the bylaws are in the process of being amended to extend beyond the current boundaries.)

 

North: Interstate 80 Freeway

East: Steelhead Creek

South: Garden Highway

West: Interstate 5 Freeway

 

In furtherance of our mission, we’d like to invite your participation by becoming a member of the Association to participate in building a safer, revitalized neighborhood.  Committees will be formed which may include the formation of celebratory events and public safety, for example. We will convene monthly general membership meetings for all to keep informed of challenges and opportunities for the community.  General membership meetings will convene in 2023, venue to be determined.  Please register with SNIA to stay informed and be notified of announcements of future events on the Membership/Contact page.  

 

HOW WILL MY PARTICIPATION HELP SERVE MY COMMUNITY?

• Assist in organizing festivals to celebrate cultural diversity

• Assist in organizing fundraisers to help our neighborhood prosper

• Build a stronger, safer neighborhood and rise to the challenges of eliminating crime and homelessness

 

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SERVE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS?

Whether your interest is in accounting, fundraising, grant-writing, historical preservation, community organizing, art, or music or whether you are a student interested in participating in civic responsibilities, we would like to have your help and ideas.  Please see the Board Membership page for more information.

 

MEMBERSHIP

You may join at any time.  Monthly general meetings will be held in 2024 on dates to be determined.  The annual membership meetings, during which new board members may be elected, will be held thereafter.
